The Bachelorette's Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth may have a second proposal away from the reality television world, as Booth has revealed that he plans to surprise Bristowe.
The couple's engagement aired on ABC's eleventh season of The Bachelorette in July 2015. Bristowe expressed that she wanted to be engaged by the end of the process, and therefore the proposal did not come as a surprise like Bristowe would have preferred.
"When I pictured a guy proposing to me, I don’t picture knowing it’s coming and cameras. I want to be surprised — I’m not going to say how I want it because I don’t know. But just being surprised and having that emotion, like, ‘Oh, my God!,'" Us Weekly reported in an interview with the pair.
The happy couple agreed that they did not feel like they started dating until their season of The Bachelorette concluded. "We used the show to meet each other and find each other, but we really started dating after the show," Booth said.
The couple knows they will get married but do not have concrete plans just yet. Bristowe and Booth do not have a set wedding date and are planning on just enjoying their engagement, according to Life & Style.
Booth and Bristowe are currently living in a six month lease in Nashville and will live in Vancouver in the summer before returning to Nashville permanently.
