Jennifer Lawrence gives speech at Patricia Arquette's Dinner for Equality

While Oscar Winner and 2016 Best Actress nominee Jennifer Lawrence may or may not get the chance to give another Best Actress acceptance speech on Sunday, she certainly got some public speaking practice at last night's Dinner for Equality.

The Daily Mail reported that on Feb. 25, Lawrence attended the Dinner For Equality, an event hosted by Marc Benioff and last year's Best Actress Oscar Winner Patricia Arquette. Just Jared noted that the event was held in Beverly Hills and that Lawrence was joined by other stars in attendance including Reese Witherspoon, Lily Tomlin and Marisa Tomei.

Lawrence was decked out in an embellished top and velvet pants, an atypical choice for a semi-formal event. Photos of the event also show Lawrence taking to the microphone to make a speech.

As we previously reported, Lawrence is the highest-paid actress of the nominees up for the Best Actress Oscar at Sunday's ceremony. She made $52 million last year, outpacing fellow Oscar nominee Leonardo DiCaprio at $29 million.
