Erin Andrews' peeping-tom trial continues after roughly 17 million views of nude videos

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews' peeping-tom court case continued this week with Andrews frequently in tears. During testimony on Feb. 25, an expert estimated that roughly 16.8 million individuals viewed the nude videos taken of her.

As TheCelebrityCafe.com previously reported, Andrews has sued the Nashville Marriott Hotel for negligence. She claims that the hotel was negligent in giving her room number info to Michael Barrett, who created a peephole to spy and tape Andrews in her hotel room. This caused Andrews emotional distress and invasion of privacy, she said. The civil case, adding up to about $75 million, also names Barrett as a defendant.

Barrett was sentenced to two and a half years in prison after admitting to stalking and recording Andrews, the Associated Press reports.

As the videos were reviewed, many of the female jurors looked away from the screen.

Andrews exited the courtroom emotionally, having jurors scheduled to view the nude tapes, according to People.

The view count, including views from July 2009 to this year, was estimated by Penn State professor Bernard Jansen. According to Jansen, the video is being viewed by an average of 1.5 people each minute.
