Candice Bergen confirmed what Donald Trump said about going on a date together, but the actress described it as one “short date.”
Last August, Trump revealed that he and the former Murphy Brown star went out together when they were both still in Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
During the American Songbook Gala on Feb. 11, Bergen spoke about the blind date the two had.
“I just remember that he was wearing a three-piece burgundy suit, and burgundy boots, and a burgundy limousine,” she told People. “He was very coordinated.”
That magical spark and chemistry between them just wasn’t there though, as Bergen added that she didn’t remember much else except that “it was a very short evening.”
Even though things didn’t work out the 70-year-old said that she has seen the Republican frontrunner since then are there are no hard feelings at all between them. So does that mean Trump gets her vote?
Nope, she's actually a Hillary Clinton supporter. As for Trump’s campaign she said, "I thought it was funnier a few months ago. Now it’s worrying."
