Bryce Dallas Howard, Alice Eve join 'Black Mirror' season 3

Bryce Dallas Howard and Alice Eve will star in an upcoming episode of Black Mirror on Netflix.

According to Deadline, Howard and Eve have been cast in an episode that is to be directed by Joe Wright (Anna Karenina, Pan). Because Black Mirror is a Twilight Zone style anthology series with a new storyline every week, the two actresses will only be featured in this one outing.

After two seasons of Black Mirror aired on Channel 4 in the U.K., Netflix ordered 12 new episodes to be produced exclusively for the streaming service, as we previously reported. Though it's now a Netflix original, not much else should be different in season 3, as executive producers Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones will remain on board.

Howard was the female lead of one of 2015's biggest films, Jurassic World, and she will also star opposite Matthew McConaughey in the upcoming movie Gold. Black Mirror will be her first major TV role.

Eve has appeared in films such as Star Trek Into Darkness, Men in Black 3 and She's Out of My League.

The third season of Black Mirror has previously cast Mackenzie Davis (The Martian) and Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Jupiter Ascending). That episode will be directed by Owen Harris, who directed Black Mirror's season 2 episode "Be Right Back."

Black Mirror season 1 and 2 are now available on Netflix. The third season does not yet have a release date.
