It's not every day that TV fans get the chance to attend a free event sponsored by their favorite show. For fans of Comedy Central's Broad City, that day is Feb. 6, when the series will host a mural painting event in New York City.
On Feb. 4, the Broad City team took to Instagram to announce the event, which will feature the opportunity for fans to paint a mural alongside artist Mike Perry, who designed graphics for the series, as well as free drinks at Kinfolk afterwards and the chance to meet a series favorite: Bingo Bronson, Abbi's oversized plush imaginary friend.
As far as promotional fan events go, this one clearly hits the mark with the fanbase. The mural event is exactly the type of unabashedly hipster affair that main characters Abbi and Ilana would attempt to attend in the course of their madcap NYC antics - provided, of course, that it was free.
