Azealia Banks gets off free after getting caught on tape attacking a Los Angeles nightclub bouncer

Azealia Banks started off this month with good news: her assault case against a Los Angeles bouncer stemming from October 2015 has been dropped.
Banks was arrested for attacking a bouncer at Break Room 86, which was caught on surveillance tape.

However, TMZ reports the case was dropped due to lack of evidence, with the tape apparently not enough to prosecute Banks. The bouncer didn’t have injuries from the attack, so sources say it’s tough to charge her on footage alone.

Banks has another case pending from December, when she attacked a female bodyguard at New York City’s Up&Down nightclub for asking her friend to get a stamp to get into a private party. She reportedly bit the breast of the bodyguard who was the subject of her attack.
