Since Chrissy Teigen’s admission that she chose the sex of her first child with John Legend, she’s responding to the backlash she has received over it on Twitter.
As we previously reported, Teigen explained that through the IVF process, they were able to choose which embryos they wanted to use. She said they chose to put in a girl because her husband “deserves that bond.”
She then took to Twitter on Feb. 24 to defend herself and their decision, saying she shouldn’t have expected everyone to understand such a “complicated” process.
Teigen started out by telling her followers to stop pointing their anger towards her because “there are so many other things that deserve your outrage.”
from reading everything tonight, i think i made a mistake in thinking people understood the process better than they do, which is my fault..

we didn't create a little girl. we had multiple embryos. girls and boys. we simply chose to put in a female first (and second)...

we didn't "throw away" anything and still would love to have more of both in the future. hard to explain such a complicated process here.

you'd be surprised at how many people you know go through this. also every doctor knows the sex of the embryos, it isn't some grand secret.
