Julianne Hough out for Season 22 of 'Dancing with the Stars,' Len Goodman in

Julianne Hough has announced she won’t be returning to Dancing with the Stars next season, but Len Goodman will return to fill her seat.

Hough switched roles from professional dancer to judge for the past three seasons, but she will be too busy with other projects to sit on the panel with Bruno Tolioni and Carrie Ann Inaba for Season 22. She recently starred as Sandy in Grease Live.

"I will miss being on the panel for Season 22, but have a lot of exciting stuff coming that I look forward to sharing," she told People in a statement. "The pro dancers, producers and crew at DWTS will always be my family."

The new season premieres on March 22 on ABC, but we’ll most likely see Hough at some point during the season.

“I promise it's not the last you'll see of me in the ballroom," she said.

In August 2015, Goodman announced he was leaving the show after 20 seasons but he remained a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK. But once again, he will join Tolioni and Inaba as judges.
