Woman who ran down pedestrians on Vegas Strip facing 1,000 years in prison (Video)

Prosecutors in Nevada have said that the 24-year-old woman who injured several pedestrians and killed one person with her vehicle on the Las Vegas Strip last month is facing 1,000 years behind bars.

The Las Vegas Sun reported that the district attorney’s office announced that Lakeisha Holloway has been charged with 71 counts stemming from the crash in which she allegedly drove her car into a crowded sidewalk of people on purpose.

As we previously reported, Halloway was allegedly behind the wheel when her car was driven up onto a curb and right into pedestrians in front of the Paris Hotel & Casino on Dec. 20. A 32-year-old woman was killed in the crash and 35 others were wounded.

The charges against her include murder, 30 counts of attempted murder and four counts of attempted murder of a person 60 years of age or older. She also faces charges of battery with a deadly weapon. Simply put, if she is convicted on every count she will spend the rest of her natural life in prison.
