"Space Oddity" will forever be a part of music history. This 1969 single tells an elaborate and detailed story that could be easily translated into a movie. This song was different than anything else out during that time. Bowie was breaking ground in a variety of areas including lyrics, sound and with his own personal style. It was through this single that much of the world came to known the musical superstar that was Bowie.
