‘Pretty Little Liars’ 6B Premiere: Four Fast Facts to Catch You Up

Tonight, Pretty Little Liars returns with all new episodes and fans couldn’t be more excited. After the PLLs learned the identity of –A during “Game Over, Charles,” showrunner, Marlene King announced a time jump to kick off the rest of the season. The PLLs are now in their twenties and have graduated from college, but the after-effects of –A’s torture has left a lasting impact. Curious to see how the time jump will play out? Here are four fast facts that will prepare you for the premiere at 8 p.m. on Freeform:

The PLLs have spent time apart.

After CeCe/Charlotte was revealed as –A, the girls parted ways. Spencer headed off to D.C., Hanna went to New York, Emily ventured to California, and Aria chose Boston. However, in the 6B opener, Ali calls them back to Rosewood, where they’re forced to confront their pasts.

The girls’ love lives will get interesting.

With all the girls separated from their beaus, there’ll be new love interests this season. Hanna is engaged  and Aria is seeing someone else, too. Of course, with Caleb and Ezra still in Rosewood, reuniting with old flames is a possibility. We’ll have to watch it unfold.

Charlotte might be released from the sanitarium.

As mentioned in the Pretty Little Liars: 5 Years Forward Special, Charlotte has been doing well with her treatment and could be released if all goes well. To ensure that she is no longer a threat to those around her, Ali asks the PLLs to return to Rosewood to speak on her sister’s behalf. But will they go through with it?

A new threat emerges.

Now that –A is gone, an even scarier villain will terrorize the girls this season. The PLLs must use their old sleuthing skills and determine the identity of this new tormentor, before things get deadly. Guess some things never change in Rosewood!

Now that you’ve been caught up, what are you most excited for tonight? Who do you think is the girls’ new tormentor? Comment below!
