Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams had no problem revealing that something big is in store for Jon Snow fans this season.
In a new interview, the Arya Stark actor discussed the aftermath of Snow's apparent death at the end of season 6.
“I feel so mean because I speak to people and they’re all like, ‘Jon Snow, is he back?’ And it’s like really heartbreaking because people are like, ‘yeah, but he’s coming back though?,'” Williams said. “It’s a great twist but I can’t say he’s going to be alive.”
So if Jon Snow's presence on the official poster and in the teaser trailer wasn't enough proof for you, Williams has confirmed there is indeed some sort of twist in store and so at the very least we can be certain his body isn't simply discarded in the season premiere. There is definitely some ambiguity to that last sentence, though. Can she not say he's going to be alive because he will actually be a zombie? Or is he going to be alive, but she can't say because it would be a spoiler? We'll find out in a few months, as Game of Thrones returns to television this April.
According to Emilia Clarke, this season will feature some of the biggest moments in television ever, which hopefully entails some sort of resurrection at the hands of a certain red priestess.
