Jennifer Lawrence says her movie with Amy Schumer won't be politically correct

Jennifer Lawrence is working on a new comedy with her good friend Amy Schumer, and the actress revealed today that the movie is done and that it won't exactly be politically correct.

In an interview with Glamour, Lawrence said that she and Schumer just finished their first draft of the film after four months of work.

"And now it’s complete, and it’s good," Lawrence said. "But it’s definitely not a politically correct film."

Lawrence explained the process of getting to work with Schumer, saying she went to see Trainwreck over the summer and immediately emailed the comedian and told her to write something for them. The next day, Schumer wrote back with a storyline, which Lawrence said is unheard of.

We don't know a lot about this upcoming film yet, but we do know that Schumer will play a flight attendant and Lawrence will play someone she describes as "a mess."

Lawrence later told BBC 6 music that she was constantly laughing while writing the movie with Schumer.

“It was hilarious because when you’re writing a comedy, it’s not good enough unless you’re laughing out loud,” Lawrence said. “I think we got a pretty funny, good movie.”

We don't yet know when this untitled comedy will be released, but Lawrence hopes to fit it in to her busy schedule pretty soon.
