‘General Hospital’ Weekly Recap: Jan. 18 to Jan. 22

WEDNESDAY - At the Crimson office in The Metro Court, Nina told Franco that her issue was a huge success and that Julian was going to eat his words. However, she was worried how she was going to make sure the next issue was just as big a success. Franco assured her that she would be able to do it. He then left for work and a reporter arrived to interview her and Julian, however Julian was unexpectedly absent. Nina tried to reschedule, since she was nervous, but the reporter refused saying that he felt that she was the brain behind Crimson and that she was who he wanted to talk to. Nina told him that the next issue would showcase their everyday readers who made the green issue a success. The reporter fell for her ideas on the spot and unknowingly feed her even more to use in the magazine. He wished her luck and then thanked her for an amazing interview. Down in the restaurant, Julian and Alexis were having lunch and he was planning to find a way to sabotage Crimson. They were interrupted by a call from Olivia, who needed him to take Leo for the day because she had just been arrested.

Meanwhile, Sam met with Jason and they talked about who was terrorizing Jake and Elizabeth’s home. Jason worried that someone from his past could be targeting him and she coulf only think of one person, Franco. She told him the story of their past and offered to help him find out who was doing this. They then decided to go examine the house for clues.

At GH, Kevin recommended a therapist for Jake, but he was worried about Elizabeth too given all that had been happening in her life. He told her to feel free to reach out to him or anyone else if she felt herself relapsing and heading for a breakdown. Jake was then brought back out to Elizabeth, who sent him off to color. The therapist, Dr. Renaud, explained that Jake was very closed off and seemed to focus on his father only. She then suggested that Jake try art therapy since it could help him express himself. Suddenly, Franco showed up and sat with Jake. Kevin and Dr. Renaud both supported Franco helping Jake since he got results. Elizabeth went over to get Jake and told him to finish his drawings at home. Jake gave Franco the ones he had done and then he and Elizabeth left. Franco then took the drawings to Kevin and told him that they reminded him of his own sketches he did as a child, which couldn’t be a good thing.

At a cabin somewhere, Sabrina took a call from Felix and was updated on Michael’s change of heart and learned that Anna was looking for her. Carlos returned to find her on the phone and was upset with her, but she explained that Felix called to warn her that Anna was looking for her. She feared that Anna knew that he was alive, but he doubted that. He then assured her that they would be okay as long as they cut ties with their old lives. She agreed to make a new start with him and then tossed her cell phone out into the snow.

Anna was surprised when Andre showed up at her house and was Robert’s contact that would help them find Carlos and Sabrina. Andre said that Sabrina was Carlos' Achilles heel and was how they were going to locate them. They then discussed where they could be hiding out and realized that Carlos had to be somewhere that they got to via land or sea since Sabrina couldn't fly and was close enough to medical care. They then figured out the duo was in Canada and probably in Nova Scotia.

At the PCPD, Alexis and Julian arrived to find out that Olivia had been arrested for verbally assaulting the mayor, after an argument over breastfeeding in public. Mayor Lomax demanded that Olivia be charged and taken to a cell, but Alexis ordered that Olivia not be taken anywhere and jumped into lawyer mode. She then spun the situation so that Mayor Lomax was the one who harassed her client and had started all of this, which she would make crystal clear if this went to court. Leo began crying again and Olivia forced the cops to un-cuff her so she could feed him. Alexis then took a photo of her feeding her child on her phone and Julian planned to use it in his publications and said this is the type of scandal could sink a career. Julian then took a break to call Nina, check in and explain why he missed the interview. He let her know that he would see her tomorrow, but the notion of breast-feeding in public gave Nina another idea for the magazine. The mayor decided to drop all charges against Olivia in order to save her own career, but Alexis believed that she violated the law and intended to file a lawsuit against her and the city.

Sam and Jason arrived at Elizabeth's place and began looking the place over. Sam thought she had figured it out, when Elizabeth and Jake returned.
