Winter has finally hit the Northeastern U.S., bringing a blizzard to upstate New York and completely freezing over lakes and… cars.
As the New York Daily News reported, the snow and cold temperatures turned one car in Buffalo into an icicle. The vehicle has now been dubbed the “ice car.”
According to WKBW, the owner of the ice car is 24-year-old Justin Yelen. The picture of the frozen car went viral and Yelen said he left it parked by a lake after he had drinks with friends and decided not to drive home.
Once he saw his car entirely encased in ice, his response was, "I hope summer comes soon.”
Now, Yelen will need to wait to move the car until it thaws out, which may not be for a little while as the region is expected to see another 9 to 18 inches in the coming days.
