Bryan Cranston joins James Franco in 'The Disaster Artist'

Walter White himself will be joining James Franco in the new movie The Disaster Artist.

Greg Sestero, author of the Disaster Artist book, made the casting announcement on his Facebook page by posting a picture of Cranston on set.

Sestero did not specify Cranston's role in the film, but there aren't a whole lot of characters left to play considering how massive the cast already is. So far, The Disaster Artist has booked James Franco, Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Kate Upton, Alison Brie, Josh Hutcherson, Sharon Stone, Ari Graynor, Hannibal Burress, Nathan Fielder and Jacki Weaver.

The Disaster Artist follows the troubled production of The Room, one of the most famously terrible movies ever made which has developed a large cult following. Franco plays The Room's eccentric director Tommy Wiseau, while Dave Franco plays Greg Sestero, cast member of The Room who wrote the non-fiction book in 2013.

Sestero also recently shared this image of James Franco recreating the infamous flower shop scene from The Room.

This is not the only project Franco and Cranston will be working on together, as they also star opposite one another in Why Him?, which hits theaters in November. The Disaster Artist is expected to be released sometime later this year.
