Tina Fey reveals Colin Quinn called a derogatory name when she was head writer of 'SNL'

Tina Fey stopped by The Howard Stern Show on Monday to promote her new film with Amy Poehler, Sisters, and she revealed it was Colin Quinn who called her the C-word when she was head writer of Saturday Night Live.

She was reluctant to talk about it because she told the SiriusXM host that they’re fine now, but she gave in and gave up Quinn’s name.

“We've since made up,” she said, THR reports. “I love him so much."

Fey went on to share her theory as to why he called her the derogatory name on her voicemail, admitting it was “random” when he did it because she didn’t know what she had done to cause it.

"I think he, I was trying to help him with a show he was working on and I think his anxiety about the writing of the show spilled over," she explained. "I couldn't even guess why [he said that]. Usually if someone calls you that, you're like, 'I know what I did.'"

Quinn has since responded on Twitter, copping to his wrongdoing.
