10. FIFA scandal
It may not be the most popular sport in America, but it certainly is elsewhere in the world and this globally-loved sport was rocked by a major scandal in 2015. Last May, the scandal involving the most powerful governing body in sports came to light after Swiss police raided a hotel in Zurich and arrested several top FIFA executives in connection with an investigation into World Cup bidding. The investigation is ongoing at this time and who will be the successor of FIFA President Sepp Blatter remains to be seen.
