Ratatouille (2007), Brad Bird
Brad Bird was the first outsider to direct a Pixar movie and his second proves that he could easily handle a project that doesn’t have to do with superheroes or action. Ratatouille feels like a little movie and it really is much simpler than other Pixar stories. It’s about a rat and a young man trying to prove themselves. And it’s set in Paris, which makes it instantly beautiful.
