Brave (2012), Mark Andrews & Brenda Chapman
The issue with Brave is that it just feels a bit too “average” for Pixar. Sure, it was great that Pixar finally made a movie with a female lead character as the hero, but it feels more like a standard Disney movie than a Pixar film. Still, the design is top-notch and it’s a movie I’ll keep watching.
