Monsters University (2013), Dan Scanlon
The only prequel in the Pixar canon, Monsters University is surprisingly good, even if it’s not the Animal House-meets-Monsters Inc we were hoping for. It does feel like a B-movie from Pixar, as it was directed by Dan Scanlon, who began at Pixar in 2001. The issue with the film isn’t that it’s not enjoyable, it’s just that it seems pointless.
