Inside Out (2015), Pete Docter
Inside Out might be the thesis for Pixar's very existence and it is one of the studio's main successes. It proves that the main creative trio behind the studio - Lasseter, Docter and Stanton - never stop thinking about pushing the limits of animation. However, Inside Out still finds a way to be a buddy journey movie, which keeps it from being Pixar's best film ever. Thankfully, the journey is unforgettable.
