Finding Nemo (2003), Andrew Stanton
What always fascinates me about Finding Nemo is how great the animation of fish is. Pixar had animation down to a science by the time Nemo was in production, but they’d never done a whole movie in water. But what really makes the film stand out is the father/son story that is at its heart. Not many studios would use fish as a vehicle to tell that story.
