'SNL' delivers Thanksgiving skit with Adele's help (Video)

Adele was on Saturday Night Live to sing her hit “Hello,” but it made an appearance outside her performance.

The British singer’s song was the theme of a Thanksgiving skit. A young girl played “Hello” to get her family to stop debating ISIS, police brutality, the presidential nominees and more at the dinner table.

“Thanksgiving with family can be hard,” the skit starts. “Everyone has different opinions and beliefs. But there’s one thing that unites us all.”

Host Matthew McConaughey, along with SNL cast members like Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant and Jay Pharaoh, started lip syncing to “Hello” whenever the young girl pressed play. As the skit continues, their lip syncing gets more intense and they start to reenact the famous music video.

“Thanks Adele,” the young girl says at the end of the skit.

While Adele did not make an appearance during the skit, she performed “Hello” and “When We Were Young” during the show.

Adele’s new album, 25, came out on Friday. It is on track to break the all-time record for most albums sold in one week. Please check out our full Saturday Night Live recap here.
