In case you didn’t know, Justin Bieber has a new album coming out, and not like it really needs help with promotion but Derek Zoolander couldn’t help but lend a hand.
Ben Stiller is the comedic actor who portrays the eccentric Derek Zoolander and according to Entertainment Tonight, Zoolander is promoting his “pal” Justin Biber’s new album Purpose.
“When my good friend Justin Bieber asked me to promote his album, Purpose, I said of course… because I want more Instagram followers,” Zoolander said. The entire video can be seen on Bieber’s Instagram account.
The two superstars’ friendship goes back to this past summer when Bieber was on set for the filming of Zoolander 2 in Rome. Zoolander 2 will star Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Christine Taylor reprising their roles.
Joining them will be Penelope Cruz, Olivia Munn, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
Justin Bieber’s new album Purpose will be released this Friday and Zoolander describes it as an album he didn’t need to hear because he already knows it’s “the best album ever.”
