Have you ever dreamed of living the lavish life in a beachfront mansion that could double as a palace in sunny Florida? If so, then there is a property just right for you ... if you have an extra $159 million to spend.
The Miami Herald noted that the sprawling, 11 bedroom, 60,000-square-foot Hillsboro Beach home called Le Palais Royal is breathtaking, but also comes with the price tag that may take your breath away.
The mansion, which is currently still under construction but is slated to be completed very soon, is owned by Robert Pereira and was modeled after the Palace of Versailles.
Last year, Pereira put the property on the market for $20 million less and it did not sell, however, that was before the new additions of spacious guest houses, an ice-skating rink, a go-cart track, a bowling alley and a night club. Some of the other features include a 30-car garage, six waterfalls, 1,300 gallon aquarium and an 18-seat IMAX theatre, sitting on the 4.5 acre property.
