Travis Barker is confirming his new relationship with Rita Ora, opening up about when he first met the singer at a charity basketball game in Los Angeles last month.
Barker, who was there to perform his new single “100,” said it was a chance encounter that first connected them.
“My buddy goes, 'Hey, Travis, take a picture with Rita!'” he told People. "And I look over, and there she is. We'd never met, and she's just, she's stunning. She's a sweetheart."
He ended up posting that photo to Instagram and captioning it, “Me and the beautiful @ritaora at @power_106#Power106AllStars.”
Barker continued to reveal that Ora reached out to him after that event and he was pleasantly surprised.
"I mean, she's awesome,” he said. “She's one of those great things that happen that you're like: 'Whoa, wasn't expecting that.' And I just never second-guess it. Just enjoy it."
He has since posted another photo with her, calling her “the mama.”
