Lamar Odom has been discharged from the Las Vegas hospital he’s been recovering in since last week, Sunrise Hospital & Medical center, and he was transported by helicopter to a Los Angeles rehab center on Monday night to further his treatment.
Odom’s estranged wife, who hasn’t left his side since Oct. 13 when he was discovered unresponsive in Dennis Hof's brothel, was seen leaving the hospital with him.
As we previously reported, Odom still has a long way to go when it comes to a full recovery and doctors still aren’t sure the extent of his permanent damage. He will be in rehab for months, and it’s reported the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will remain by his side throughout that ordeal as well.
Sources close to the NBA star told E! News he has began speaking in full sentences and can even eat without assistance now. However, he isn’t able to stand up on his own yet.
Odom and Kardashian are still legally married despite both signing divorce papers over the summer, since a judge hasn’t officially signed off on the divorce yet. It’s unknown what Kardashian’s status is with her new boyfriend, James Harden.
