Jimmy Kimmel tells Stephen Colbert he’d ‘cry like a baby’ if he died

Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel might be battling for ratings every night, but the two comedians have respect for each other. They also happen to have the same agent.

Kimmel was in New York on Friday, as his Jimmy Kimmel Live! prepares for another week of special shows in Brooklyn. He stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where the two talked about sharing the same weird agent, James “Baby Doll” Dixon. Kimmel also asked Colbert a bunch of questions about what Dixon is like when he’s on the East Coast. (Apparently, he is a very different person on the West Coast.)

At the end of their chat, Kimmel said it’s a “weird thing” that viewers want late night hosts to fight against each other.

“I like you too,” Kimmel told Colbert. “I might even love you. If you died, I’d cry like a baby. Yeah. I would. God forbid.”

“Wow, if I didn’t have a show, I’d go to your funeral,” Colbert replied.
