Jessa Seewald’s family threw her a co-ed baby shower ahead of her Nov. 1 due date, which was filmed of her 19 Kids and Counting spin-off special with sister Jill Dillard, Jill & Jessa: Counting On.
The party was fall-themed and took place on Thursday, Oct. 15 in Highfill, Ark., where over 100 guests ate pumpkin cake balls, pecan pies and other delicious desserts.
Us Weekly reports they played a lot of games at the shower, suited for both the guys and the girls.
“They had a contest for the ladies in which they had to close their eyes and race to change a diaper on a baby doll,” a source said. “The final competition was one that Ben came up with. He and three of his friends had a contest to see who could make the best baby food!”
Instead of bringing gifts for the expecting couple, guests were asked to bring a written prayer of blessing instead.
