Jeff Goldblum, Bryan Cranston and Ed Norton join Wes Anderson's animated dog movie

Wes Anderson has had a successful and storied career so far, but now he is dipping into the animated genre for the first time since he made Fantastic Mr. Fox in 2009. The film is untitled and has very few plot details have been released. However, we do know it is about dogs and its cast includes three big stars.

Jeff Goldblum plays a weekly jazz show with his band in Los Angeles and after the performance he answers questions. When he was asked if he would be working with Anderson again, he said he would be starring alongside Edward Norton and Bryan Cranston. The three of them will be voicing a pack of dogs, Nerdist reported.

Goldblum recently wrapped up the highly anticipated Independence Day Resurgence. Goldblum and Norton have both worked with Anderson in the past, recently appearing in The Grand Budapest Hotel together. Norton also stars in Moonrise Kingdom and Goldblum can be spotted in The Lige Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

When news of the animated proect first surfaced earlier this month, we pointed out that Anderson has not always seen eye to eye with canines as they usually die in his films. So, it's nice to see the director finally do a film that might portray man's best friend in a positive light.

Pre-production has already started on Anderson’s new stop-motion animation film.
