Janet Jackson's Unbreakable comeback tour has postponed two shows in Denver and Salt Lake City per doctors orders.
The singing icon, 49, tweeted Friday night "Hey you guys, I must rest my vocal chords. Doctor's orders... Will be rescheduling Salt Lake and Denver. Keep your tickets! Back to Burn Up Kansas City."
The show in Salt Lake was scheduled for Saturday and Denver for Sunday. Jackson's Unbreakable tour is her first since 2011.
Jackson reassured fans that she will be alright but no makeup dates have been scheduled as of yet. Ticket holders are being told to keep their tickets as they will be honored once the rescheduled dates are set.
She is set to resume Oct. 27 in Kansas City with still two more legs of the tour to go. The second North American leg is confirmed to kick off in January and the third to follow in May.
Jackson released the first track "No Sleep" off her new Unbreakable album back in June and followed it up with release of the album on Oct. 2 which was met with primarily positive reviews. The album debuted number one on the Billboard hot 200.
She took quite a long hiatus from recording as her last album release was 2008's Discipline. She has been keeping busy in her personal life however as she married billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana back in 2012.
