Faith Hill is currently working on creating and producing a syndicated lifestyle TV show and has found one of the main hosts for the upcoming show. Hill will be working with former American Idol alum and country singer, Kellie Pickler.
The show is being explained as a lifestyle commentary, that will focus on cooking, home design and gardening, The Hollywood Reporter added. Country music, despite these ladies extensive background in the industry will not be featured in the show. The format will include Pickler hosting along with experts and guests rotating in and out.
Hill opened up about why teaming up with Pickler was the best opportunity for her project.
"Kellie possesses the ability to reach far beyond the camera and into the hearts of people, allowing you to feel immediately connected to her," she said. "There was no question in my mind that she should be a big part of this show."
The country superstar is also working with along with former Oprah Winfrey Show co-executive producer Lisa Erspamer and her own manager, Jason Owen to produce this program, Billboard reported. The show is currently looking for distribution and is hoping for a fall 2016 or 2017 launch.
