Pornhub offers controversial $25,000 scholarship, asks for 'sex positive' video showing how to 'make others happy'

In what’s likely the most controversial scholarship to date, adult film site Pornhub is offering $25,000 to a college student who can best describe: “How do you strive to make others happy?”

The site will be accepting video submissions for their new philanthropic initiative, Pornhub Cares, up until Oct. 31.

Applicants won’t have to submit porn to be considered, but they would like to see videos that are in line with their “sex positive belief system.”

Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub, told the Washington Post, “We work hard to help make millions of people feel happy every single day. In turn, we would like to help support the recipient of the first annual Pornhub Cares Scholarship to realize their goal of doing the same.”

Price also pointed out the self-explanatory. “If you’re against pornography and an anti-pornography crusader, this is probably not the scholarship for you,” he said.

The rules of the scholarship are entrants need to be 18 or older and currently enrolled in college or graduate school. To win, these students will need a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
