During Saturday Night Live’s 40 season, host Martin Freeman brought us the hilarious mashup also known as “The Office: Middle Earth.” Now bonus footage has been released.
According to Entertainment Weekly the extra footage includes Kate McKinnon’s character flirting with Bilbo Baggins, a Jim-esque character played by Freeman, boss Bobby Moynihan plays with a toy dragon through a window, and Taran Killam’s Gollum inspired character eats a raw fish. We even get an angry “Roy,” played by Beck Bennett.
The extra footage makes us wish “The Office:Middle Earth,” was a real show we could add to our DVRs. The sketch that made it to air included iconic Office moments including office supplies in jello, inappropriate/sexual jokes made by the boss, and Bilbo and the elf pranking Gollum.
Saturday Night Live season 41 begins Oct. 3. The first hosts include Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, and Tracy Morgan.
The video below is the original sketch.
