According to Entertainment Weekly, the #1 debut of “What Do You Mean?” crowns the 21 year-old as the youngest male artist to ever debut in the top spot.

Billboard Magazine reports Bieber was awarded with a Guinness World Record Plaque Thursday, Sept. 10 on the Today show. The Guinness World Records took to Twitter to congratulated the young singer.

Despite a rainy morning in New York City, the Today Show reports the poncho-clad crowd sang along with Bieber as he performed “What Do You Mean?” “Where Are U Now?” “Boyfriend” and an acoustic version of his 2010 hit “Baby.” In addition to his killer performance, Bieber showed off his newly bleached hair-do. The Today show tweeted “Bieber the Blond!” with a picture of the star.
