Demi Lovato is not taking anything too seriously— besides her coffee cup— during her press tour.

According to People, when Lovato was asked “What’s your favorite dish?” during an interview with Energy NRJ in Europe, she responded, “I like mugs, because they’re very comfortable in your hand.”
“They hold hot things that you don’t have to touch,” Lovato added. “You know, coffee or hot tea.”
Lovato took to social media to make light of her answer and let fans in on her joke. She posed with a series of mugs on Instagram, and tweeted out “For anybody who actually thinks I misunderstood the “favorite dish” question - you clearly don’t get my sense of humor.”

The singer is also making headlines for addressing rumors about her sexuality. After her hit song “Cool For The Summer” was reportedly about being a lesbian, Lovato was asked if that is what the song is really about and her own experience with women.
Lovato has been dating Wilmer Valderrama on and off for five years.
