Damon Wayans appeared on Power 105.3’s The Breakfast Club and claimed to know the amount of money Tracy Morgan got in his settlement with Walmart following the fatal car accident he was involved in.
Wayans casually mentioned the astronomical figure during a discussion about comedians who have financial freedom to do what they want.
It’s been reported that the former 30 Rock star, who is doing much better now and will even host Saturday Night Live this fall, will get these payments over a five-year period.
Morgan’s rep has since told TMZ, "Tracy has had no contact with Mr. Wayans since before the accident so there is no way he would be able to know this and thus is false."
Morgan recently married his fiancé Megan Wollover, who he shares a 2-year-old daughter with. His doctor called his recovery a “miracle.”
