Claire Danes is officially a Hollywood star.

According to Yahoo, actress Claire Danes was the latest Hollywood star to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Danes, who received her star on Sept. 24, is the 2,559th person to be awarded a star.
"This is huge and wonderful," Danes said. "This is really cool.”
Danes thanked her parents, Carla and Christopher, who were at the ceremony, for moving from New York to Los Angeles so she could pursue an acting career during a brief speech.
"There's so much low and high in what we do,” Danes said to her fans. “If I'm here it's because I have made a connection that is real. I was here and you were here with me.”
Danes also said the Hollywood Walk of Fame was a “wonderful tradition.”
While Danes did not win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series this year, she has two Emmys for her role in Homeland and a third for the television movie Temple Grandin.
Homeland returns to Showtime on Oct. 4.
