Bristol Palin writes Obama should 'stay out of' supporting Ahmed Mohamed

Bristol Palin criticized President Obama for supporting Ahmed Mohamed, the 14-year-old who was arrested earlier this week for bringing a homemade clock to school.

Bristol Palin expressed her disagreement on her blog, “This is the kind of stuff Obama needs to STAY out of. This encourages more racial strife that is already going on with the 'Black Lives Matter' crowd and encourages victimhood," she wrote.

“The police made a mistake, clearly. But why put more people against them? Why egg it on? Childish games like this from our president have divided our country… even more today than when he was elected,” she added.

In an interview with Good Morning America Mohamed said, “I was scared at the moment but now I feel really happy that I’m getting all this support from all over the world and the support isn’t just for me but it’s for everyone who’s been through this. I wanted to have my teacher see that I want to be an engineer when I grow up, so I guess now I get millions of people watching me be an engineer.”

As we previously reported, the high school student received tremendous amounts of support through social media via #IStandWithAhmed. USA Today reports Mohamed received an invitation to intern for Twitter and invites to Google’s science fair and the Facebook offices.
