Bachelor in Paradise star Ashley Salter is engaged-- and probably going to walk down the aisle with a bouquet of onions.
Salter, known as “onion girl” after she infamously picked an onion off of a tree in Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, has found love. According to E! News, Salter is engaged to her college boyfriend, Austin Brannen.
The couple, who met during their time at Auburn University, celebrated their engagement on Instagram.

Before reuniting with Brannen, Salter spent the summer in Mexico trying to find love on Bachelor in Paradise season 2. She went home after two failed relationships.
Salter and Brannen’s announcement comes after a lot of recent Bachelor engagements. Tanner Tolbert popped the question to Jade Roper at the end of the summer on Bachelor in Paradise, while Shawn Booth proposed to the latest Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe at the end of her season in May. Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky’s relationship with Roberto Martinez did not last, but she is also recently engaged to Kevin Manno.
The franchise returns with a new season of The Bachelor in January with Ben Higgins handing out the roses.
