Friday Night Lights is a great movie that inspired a great TV show. The movie has been almost forgotten about since the show's acclaim, but it shouldn't be. Billy Bob Thornton is great as Coach Gary Gaines and Derek Luke steals the show as James "Boobie" Miles.
