The Emmys are coming! As of Aug. 20 we are officially less than a month away from TV’s biggest night. With the award show just around the corner we thought it might be time to take a closer look at the host of the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards.
This year our host is Saturday Night Live alum and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg. This is Samberg’s first time acting as Emmy host. Thanks to his SNL training, Samberg has spent a significant amount of time on live television and should be more than prepared to take the reigns as host. In 2013, Samberg hosted the Independent Spirit Award Show. In May 2014, he returned to his SNL roots to host the season finale of the long running sketch series.
Although Samberg has had a variety of roles in film and television, we decided to focus in on his time at SNL and rank the top 10 Andy Samberg sketches/characters. Get ready for a crazy abs workout because Samberg’s work will have you laughing so hard you’ll be able to skip the gym for a week like a boss.
