'Saturday Night Live' announces hosts for 41st season

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Saturday Night Live is almost back!

With the return of SNL comes the announcement of the 41st season’s hosting line up. Each year SNL get to relive the excitement and anticipation akin to opening presents on Christmas morning. And this year’s first three “presents” are HUGE! As in Miley Cyrus, Amy Schumer, and Tracy Morgan, are the first three hosts.

SNL’s twitter account tweeted, “We’re excited to announce our first three hosts of Season 41: @Miley Cyrus, @amyschumer, and @RealTracyMorgan #SNL.”

Cyrus has hosted the show in the past, and done well. This will be her third time acting as host. She will be hosting MTV’s Video Music Awards later this month.

Schumer has become an instant A-lister this summer fresh off the success of her movie Trainwreck. Schumer has not hosted SNL, but her hit Comedy Central series, Inside Amy Schumer should help make her first time hosting a success.

Morgan will be hosting the show for his second time, he also spent seven years as a cast member on the series. This is the first work Morgan has done since he was critically injured in a car accident in 2014.

It sounds like a ton of laughs should be coming our way.
