Rihanna: Top 10 No. 1 singles

Rihanna supposedly isn’t happy with much of the material off upcoming album R8. Allegedly, after single “B---h Better Have My Money” didn’t experience success, she’s throwing things out and starting over.

According to a report in The Mirror, the singer wants an “edgy” sound that appeals to listeners on both sides of the Atlantic. A source told the newspaper Rihanna wants to replicate how “We Found Love,” her collaboration with Calvin Harris, performed, so her team is enlisting the U.K.’s top songwriters to make it happen.

“Her people have put in calls with the best songwriters on their books and requested they drop everything to help,” the source said. “Usually writing camps are set up where hundreds of songwriters are invited to spend a few days coming up with tracks for her. This time they’ve gone direct to guaranteed hit-makers as there’s no time to waste.”

Rihanna’s last album Unapologetic dropped nearly three years ago. While she has previewed new music since then the wait is a rarity, as the pop star has released almost a new album every year since 2005.

And because of that pace, Rihanna has scored a ton of No. 1 singles. “B---h Better Have My Money” might not have made it, but 10 other tracks did and we count them down from weakest to strongest.
