Jeffrey Tambor still does the 'Arrested Development' chicken dance

George Bluth is bringing back the chicken dance.

On Wednesday’s episode of Conan, Jeffrey Tambor, who plays George Bluth on the cult comedy Arrested Development, did a modified version of one of the shows running gags: chicken impersonations.

Tambor talked to Conan about how he enjoys speaking at colleges, but there is one request that follows him no matter where he goes. “There is that hand that is raised, and I know exactly what they’re going to say. And I say, ‘Yes?’ And they say, ‘Would you do the chicken dance,’” the actor shares.

After Tambor brought it up, Conan’s crowd had the same request. As the audience applauded and cheered, Tambor shook his head and wagged his finger. He reluctantly stood and performed a modified move titled the “Kosher Chicken Dance.” The original is better.

Aside from his role as the patriarch of the Bluth clan, Tambor stars in the critically acclaimed Amazon series Transparent, which recently got picked up for a third season. In Oct. 2016, Tambor will be starrign in The Accountant with Ben Affleck.
