Former 'Hills' star Stephanie Pratt smoked crystal meth up to '13 times a day' as a teenager

Stephanie Pratt, best known from her time on MTV’s The Hills as Spencer Pratt’s younger sister, has made some startling confessions about her life in her new memoir Made in Reality: From the Hills of L.A. to London's Made in Chelsea.

In an excerpt obtained by MailOnline, Pratt admits to smoking meth up to 13 times a day when she was just 14 years old.

"I was on the extreme level and addiction developed instantly,” she said. “[I smoked] probably four times before school, then at snack...probably 12 or 13 times a day."

But meth wasn’t her only drug of choice, she was also addicted to cocaine at the time. After a while her addictions began to affect her so much that she fell into a deep depression, and her parents were oblivious, Us Weekly reports.

She was arrested in 2006 for attempting to shoplift $4,000 worth of clothes from Neiman Marcus while working as a production assistant on the set of Lost in Hawaii. She went to rehab the next year, and joined The Hills in 2009, which spurred another addiction: bulimia.

"I lost about six pounds in two weeks, but bulimia made my face very puffy, so I freaked out and began going on crazy little diets," she said. "I'd only eat Tic Tacs."
