Truth behind Twitter trend #ZaynisComingBackOnJuly26 will surprise One Directioners

On Friday, #ZaynisComingBackOnJuly 26 started trending on Twitter, making One Direction fans believe Zayn Malik will rejoin the band this Sunday.

There has been absolutely no confirmation from the band’s reps that Malik is planning on coming back to the group, so this trend is just One Directioners’ wishful thinking.

Malik quit after five years with the band back in March, saying in a statement he wants to be a “normal 22-year-old.” One Direction has carried on as a four-person band and judging by an interview Harry Styles did recently, it seems they’re getting along just fine.

“There have been incredible shows across Europe. Some of the best we’ve had!” he said.

Malik has started a solo career and has gotten into a Twitter fight with Louis Tomlinson since quitting, so it doesn’t appear the fans’ wish that he return will come true any time soon.
