On Monday night, Tom Cruise got to experience one of Jimmy Fallon’s famous lip sync battles and killed it.
Cruise was a little skeptical about the competition, commenting on how ridiculous it was. But when he started to perform, Cruise definitely got into it.
He was up first and chose to sing the song of the summer, The Weekend’s “I Can’t Feel My Face.”
Although the song is a crowd pleaser, Fallon brought more energy to the table when he sang The Rolling Stone’s “Undercover of the Night” and added in some air guitar action.
Cruise decided to step up his game when he came up to sing Meatloaf’s “Paradise by the Dashboard Light,” but before he performed, The Roots played the opening chords to Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll.”
Seger’s song was the one where Cruise danced half-naked in the famous Risky Business.
After Cruise delivered a marvelous performance of the Meatloaf song, Fallon knew that the only way he could beat him was with The Righteous Brother classic “You Got That Lovin’ Feelin’.”
Cruise couldn’t help himself and teamed up with Fallon as they serenaded an audience member just like in Top Gun.
Mission Impossible: Rogue Mission is in theaters and IMAX this Friday.
